Duplicate Bridge: Aug. 2


The Airport Bridge Club will offer pairs games with $2 entry fees at 1 p.m. on Sundays and 7:15 p.m. on Thursdays, beginning this week. The Monday night game is discontinued.
All games at the club will award triple red points today, Saturday, Aug. 2, through next Friday, Aug. 8. Today’s game begins at 11:45 a.m., after a lesson at 10:30. Games Monday to Thursday begin at noon. Beginning next Friday, weekday games return the regular 11 a.m. starting time.

Duplicate Bridge: July 26

The Airport Bridge Club begins a temporary schedule change today, Saturday, July 26, when the lesson and game will begin at 10:30 and 11:45 a.m., respectively, 15 minutes earlier than usual.
Daytime games from Monday, July 28, to Friday, Aug. 1, all will begin at noon, an hour later than usual. All daytime games next week will offer triple points. So will the weekly Beat Bill game with a cash jackpot, which will be played at its normal time, 7:15 p.m. Monday.

The Bridge Center of Buffalo holds an extra-point Slam Zone game at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 27, where all hands have slam potential. Normal fee plus $5 includes pizza, salad, beer and soft drinks. Call John Bielinski at 481-1966 for info.
