Congratulations to Chris Urbanek, who won the most master points among Buffalo area players at the Great Lakes Sectional Tournament Sept. 14 and 15 in Erie, Pa. She earned 10.98 points and was tied for first overall. Also doing well in Erie were Davis Heussler and David Colligan, both with 7.09 points. They were tied for seventh overall.

Duplicate Bridge: Sept. 14, 2024


Congratulations to Chris Urbanek, the local player who earned the most masterpoints in the Buffalo Fall Sectional Tournament Sept. 6 to 8 in the Buffalo Bridge Center. She won 19.36 and was first overall.

Local players also doing well included Kamil Bishara, 18.19 points; Linda Burroughsford, 11.91; Jay Costello, 11.01; Fred Yellen, 10.08; Bud Seidenberg, 7.65; Davis Heussler, 7.23; Saleh Fetouh, 7.02; and Jay Levy, 6.57. In all, 65 players earned points.
