The Buffalo Spooktacular Regional Tournament begins Tuesday, Oct. 23, and continues through Sunday, Oct. 28, in the Holiday Inn, 100 Whitehaven Road , Grand Island . Team and pairs games will be at 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, with Swiss teams at 10 a.m. on Oct. 28. The Airport Bridge Club will offer a pairs game at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, followed by a triple point Swiss team game 1:30 p.m. Monday with 5 percent gold points.
The club will be open during the tournament for pairs games at 11 a.m. Tuesday to Friday and will hold progressive jackpot individual games at noon next Saturday, Oct. 27, and 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. The jackpot currently is at $60. Call 603-6943 for info and to sign up for the individual games.

Eight Is Enough!, a team game staged annually by Western New York Unit 116, guarantees a combination of experienced and inexperienced players. Each team is allowed a maximum of eight “points” determined on the following schedule:
Players with 2000-plus points = 3.
Life masters with fewer than 2000 points = 2.
Non-life masters or fewer than 500 points = 1.
Unit 116’s next Eight Is Enough! game takes place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Bridge Center of Buffalo, 3362 Sheridan Drive , Amherst .
