Free bridge lessons for middle and high school students begin at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 5, and continue Sundays through June 23 at the Bridge Center of Buffalo, 3362 Sheridan Drive, Amherst. Congratulations to Linda Burroughsford and Davis Heussler, who earned the most master points among Buffalo area players competing in the mammoth Gatlinburg, Tenn., regional tournament a week ago. They each won 36.99 points. 
     Other local players doing well in Gatlinburg included Ken Meier, 32 even; Sandi England and John Kirsits, both 18.99; Mike Ryan and John Ziemer, both 12.70; and Allen Beroza and Bob Sommerstein, both 12.44.
