Unit games postponed by the weather last Saturday will be held today, Saturday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Airport Bridge Club (603-6943) and 1 p.m. at the Lockport Duplicate Club (434-8635).

The 60th Niagara District Sectional Tournament will be held Friday, Feb. 7, to Sunday, Feb. 9, in the Holiday Inn & Suites Parkway Convention Centre, 327 Ontario Street, St. Catharines, Ont.

The Airport Bridge Club holds its annual Martin Luther King Day chicken barbecue Monday, Jan. 20, with pairs games at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The morning game is a Unit Championship. The club also has "Pamphlet Pairs" at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, and Swiss teams at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 26.

Duplicate Bridge: Jan. 11

The Airport Bridge Club hosts its annual Martin Luther King Day chicken barbecue on Monday, Jan. 20, with pairs games at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. For the next two Sundays, Jan. 12 and Jan. 19, as an alternative to the football playoffs, the club also will be offering special gifts to all players at its pairs games at 1 p.m.

Congratulations to Davis Heussler, who won the most master points at the Buffalo Winter Sectional Tournament last weekend, Jan. 3 to 5, in the Main-Transit Fire Hall in Williamsville. His total? 13.70.
Second was David Colligan with 11.78, followed by Stan Kozlowski with 11.62 and Bert Hargeshimer and Christy Kellogg, tied for fourth with 11.48. Other leading players included Jim Gullo (11.34), Wufeng Luo and Chongmin Zhang (tied with 10.30), Donna Steffan (9.78), Judy Padgug (9.05) and Judi Marshall (9.02). In all, 142 players earned points.
