The Airport Bridge Club offers extra point pairs games at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 4; at 11 a.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday; and at noon next Saturday, May 10, after the weekly bridge lesson at 10:45 a.m.

Congratulations to Jill and Powhatan Wooldridge, the Buffalo area players who won the most master points at the enormous Gatlinburg, Tenn., regional tournament last week. Jill had 55.90 points, and was 162nd among the winners. Pow had 45.33 points and was in 268th place.
Other local players scoring points in Gatlinburg included Jan and Carl Hasselback and Paul and Linda Zittel, all with 9.67 and tied for 1,727th place. In all, 3,537 players won points.

Congratulations to Saleh Fetouh, the Buffalo area player who won the most master points at the annual Toronto Easter Regional Tournament April 15 to 20. With 41.98 points, he was 16th overall.
Other leading point winners from Buffalo included Yichaun and Wufeng Lao, who both earned 25.37 points and tied for 69th, and Chris Urbanek, who tied for 71st with 24.66.

Canterbury Woods Duplicate Wednesday – North-south, Joe Fiore and Bernie Myer, 62.2%; Dee Schaeffer and Lil Ungerleider, 54.%; east-west, Mary Blanchard and Esther Greene, 63.9%; (tie) Betty Bowling and Bette Seifert, Sandy Recoon and Irwin Brock, 52.7%.
