The Buffalo Fall Sectional Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 21, to Sunday, Sept. 23, in the Main-Transit Fire Hall, 6777 Main St., Amherst. There will be pairs games at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Swiss teams at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. For info, click this link.
The Bridge Center of Buffalo and the Airport Bridge Club will be closed Friday and next Saturday during the sectional tournament. UPDATE: The Lockport Duplicate Bridge game next Saturday also is canceled.

Congratulations to Chris Urbanek, the Buffalo area player who won the most master points at the St. Catharines, Ont., Regional Tournament last week. She earned 70.69 points and was tied for third overall.
