The annual Buffalo Regional Tournament continues today, Saturday, June 29, and Sunday, June 30, in the Holiday Inn,
100 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island, with games at 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. today and Swiss teams at 10 a.m. June 30. Most local clubs are closed during the tournament. For complete tournament info, click this link.

Club’s weekly evening game will be at 7:15 p.m. Monday, July 1. The club will host an Independence Day chicken barbecue Thursday, July 4, with games at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Airport Bridge

Congratulations to Jay Levy, the expert player who took on teams of challengers from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on June 21 as part of The Longest Day fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association. During those 16 hours, he played a total of 117 hands in the Bridge Center of Buffalo and, in the process, raised more than $4,500 for Alzheimer’s research.
