The Airport Bridge Club holds triple-point games at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 7; 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 9; 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday, July 11; and 11 a.m. Friday, July 12. Double points will be awarded in pairs games at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, and Wednesday, July 10.

Congratulations to former Buffalonian Joel Wooldridge, now a resident of Astoria, Queens, who was joined by his three teammates at the top of the list of master point winners at the Buffalo Summer Sectional Tournament June 25 to 30 in the Grand Island Holiday Inn. He earned 72.97 points – 38.92 on the winning team in the Wednesday-Thursday Bracket 1 knock-outs and 34.05 from winning the Friday-Saturday Bracket 1 knock-outs.
Top local player was John Toy, a member of the winning Swiss team on Sunday. He added 45.26 points and was ninth overall. In all, 563 players earned points. Other leading local point winners included:
